Winter Park, FL — November 20, 2017.  SIMETRI, Inc., a Central Florida-based medical training and technology company, was recently selected to provide expert support to the U.S. Army Test Network Modernization (TNM) project as a subcontractor to Advanced IT Concepts (AITC) on the $4-million contract awarded by Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). 

AITC and SIMETRI will assist the U.S. Army Product Manager for Instrumentation, Targets, Threat Simulators and SOF Training Systems at PEO STRI in supporting the Army Test and Evaluation Command to modernize and upgrade Test Centers Networks.

Project scope includes researching, identifying, verifying, and supporting validation of communication infrastructure solutions that are capable of meeting test needs at five Army centers throughout the continental Unites States: White Sands Test Center, Yuma Proving Grounds, Electronic Proving Grounds, Redstone Test Center, and Aberdeen Test Center.

This will entail reviewing installation and integration plans and reports, conducting technical analyses, and reviewing range test networks and components at each test center, and ultimately informing the government of end-of-life systems, and planning a migration strategy to replace end of life systems over the lifecycle period of TNM.
