SIMETRI has advanced medical curriculum and training device design and manufacturing expertise, essential not only to assisting in tracking proposed changes to an evolving medical curriculum, but also to ensuring that the personnel assigned as instructors understand the changes and can implement them correctly into the training environment.

SIMETRI provides instructional services and curriculum development in support of the Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, to perform instruction, curriculum review and evaluation, coordination, and execution of Tactical Combat Medical Care training and Prolonged Field Care.

SIMETRI conducts training effectiveness evaluations and usability studies—as part of the development cycle—to ensure that critical skills are being developed and retained by students. Technology is used to collect usability data to determine if students meet critical training objectives, coordinating with an Institutional Review Board when appropriate.

PROOF POINT:

Working with Subject Matter Experts throughout the development lifecycle of the Humeral Head Intraosseous Insertion trainer, SIMETRI conducted multiple usability studies to ensure the trainer not only reflected the subject of the tasks being trained, but was effective in training civilian first responders and DoD medics.

SIMETRI provides services to develop, conduct, and execute analytical and computational chemistry research as well as analyze, collect, and report data in support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. SIMETRI provides analytical expertise in understanding the properties and behavior of Army relevant materials by examining water, sediments, and tissue using methods and techniques with state-of-the-art lab instrumentation.
