SIMETRI, Inc. and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Advanced Training Simulation Directorate (ATSD) have made large strides in the development of a state-of-the-art and innovative lower extremity fasciotomy part task trainer. Subject Matter Experts at the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC) in Fort Bragg, NC have provided guidance and valuable feedback on this surgical procedure that is performed to relieve Compartment Syndrome.

These advances in anatomically accurate models and material science have paved the way for intensive and immersive medical training.

Join us during #IITSEC to see Dr. Deborah Burgess, Col., USAF (Ret), President & CEO of The Salus Group demonstrating the procedure on today at 1:30 pm, and Wednesday at 12:45 pm in Booth #315.
